While constructing the whole media assignment, in it's production I was familiar how to produce my own beats of sound, but one thing which I really improved on was editing the clips at the right time, producing and uploading onto the internet, via blogger and YouTube. We used one camera which was a samsung HD camcorder, for the editing I used two laptops/computers a Lenovo laptop, to take on the go and one at home because it was more powerful, processor wise, that laptop/computer was a Dell. I used the two software applications Traktor and MixMeister Fusion 7 to produce my own sounds and beats for the media assignment. I had also used Cyberlink PowerDirector 11 to edit and reconstruct the film frames, sequences where it was needed and the editing was also carried out on that particular software because it was easy to use. I also used blogger to update my blogs and post regularly and I also used YouTube to upload the videos one after the other.
We used a HD camcorder to film the opening two minutes, this camcorder was very easy to use, uploading the clips onto the computer for editing was very easy, simple and clear.
We used two laptops for editing for editing, one for using at the scene of filming and the other for using at home, mainly because it was more faster holding a more powerful processor. One easy part of the editing was that we could carry out multiple tasks efficiently. One of the advantages of using two laptops was that we had two copies of each film, so we had a back-up for each of the clips we filmed.
On the course of this journey into filming, before and after, since the preliminary task right up to now I have gained the knowledge of uploading work in video format onto Youtube, another key skill that I have gained is how to embed the video into the HTML format on Blogger, then compose into the finished product. This particular skill has enabled me to become much more comfortable in analysing different openings of different genres and genres relevabt to my opening two minutes. Another skill editing-wise that I have gained is how the smooth transitions and effects had to be, and how precise thay had to be in order for smooth playback, which is a major factor in film-making.

I used another skill to produce some of our own beats, by starting off with a simple tune, I firstly layered other types of sounds onto each other, then by adding beats at their designated times, I played around with a few guitar like strings, but that was jus experimental. After adding different layers and fine-tuning the piece of music, I then started mixing a bit of other elements, such as slow sounding tracks with other fast sounding tracks, this helped create altogether an intense, fast paced action piece of music to fit well with our genre of urban/action. The software that was used is called Traktor and Mix Meister Fusion7. The reason as to why two types of software was used was because there were different ways to produce different beats and tunes, this enabled us to experiment and make the right tune to fit in with the scene in the nopening two minutes, because using just one type of music would obviously just bore the audience so we used a variety of music that fitted in with our genre of urban/action.
